Animal Welfare
Animal Welfare is the humane treatment of animals, but not equal to humans. Animal Welfare supporters believe in reasonable steps to ensure the humane treatment of animals and do not tolerate animal abuse or suffering.Animal Rights
Animal Rights is the belief that humans and animals are equal. Animal Rights activists compare animal ownership to slavery and believe that animals should not be used for food, clothing, hunting, sports, or any other use. Animal rights believers are proponents of extensive regulation of all animal husbandry.- To raise the cost of meat, milk and eggs
- To reduce the total production of these foods.
- To weaken the economic structure of animal agribusiness.
"My goal is the abolition of all animal agriculture."

The following quote is what Wayne Pacelle had to say about Proposition 2 passing in California:
"People know what happened in California, and they know it can happen again and again. They know that no group has passed more ballot measures than we have. They know we have a focused strategy. They know we have a budget of $150 million a year. And they know we're ready for a fight."
